Setting up your e-mail client to receive mail from your domain


If your require advice on setting up your e-mail client please go to this page.

The following information applies to customers who have purchased our web hosting package and not to customers who have purchased Total Control. With Total Control no access is required to your hosting package and all aspects of your website can be controlled from your online Administration area.

Accessing your online control panel


You can access your control panel by entering this address into your web browser.
http://cp.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is replaced with your actual domain name)
Type in the username and password that was supplied to you when the account was set up.
Within the control panel you can alter the settings of your account.

FTP access


You can upload to your site using an FTPC and entering
Hostname: ftp.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is replaced with your actual domain name)
Username: (the username supplied when your account was set up)
Password: (the password supplied when your account was set up)

CGI Scripts


The first line of your script should read #!/usr/bin/perl. The version of Perl installed is V5. The path to Sendmail is /usr/sbin/sendmail.

If your formail script, or any other script won't work, try the following.

Frontpage Extensions


You can install Frontpage Extensions from within your control panel.

PHP pages


You can construct PHP pages using a standard text editor then save them with a .php extension. At the point where you require PHP code to start use this tag <?php and where you want the code to stop use this tag ?>.

MySQL


You can set up a MySQL database from within your control panel.
